Moral Computer Support was founded in April 1998

The cost of a computer is around R3-R5 per working hour (calculation based on ± 1800 working hours a year with a useful lifespan of 3 years).  The cost of a computer user is R30 per hour and upwards.  Savings are achieved, not in buying cheaper hardware, but in giving users the right tools (hardware and software) to perform their job faster, more accurately, and with greater job satisfaction.

Whether it be routine maintenance or complex programming, everything is focussed on productivity, and hence profitability.

More about Phil Maund

Phil Maund has been passionate about productivity since writing his first CAD automation program in 1984 (that’s before PCs hit South African shores!).  With a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, finding better, smarter, faster ways to do things is embedded in his DNA.

Today, his speciality is Microsoft Excel and Word, where productivity gains are easily attainable.

Whether it be training, programming, or smart design, nothing makes Phil happier than seeing other people becoming more productive.
